Creating DKIM Record for HappyFox
A DKIM key pair contains:
- A DKIM public key: to be published in your public-facing DNS
- A DKIM private key: used by HappyFox to sign your outgoing emails, that is to be uploaded on their webserver
Publishing your DKIM public key for HappyFox
After you get your public key from HappyFox’s support team or generate it online:
1. Login to your DNS provider’s management console as the admin
2. Navigate to the DNS records section
3. Create 2 CNAME records with the following syntax:
happyfox1._domainkey.domain.com points to happyfox1._domainkey.happyfox.com
happyfox2._domainkey.domain.com points to happyfox2._domainkey.happyfox.com
Note: Please replace domain.com with your own domain name (the domain owned by you that HappyFox uses to send emails on your behalf)
4. Copy and paste the hostname and value
5. Save changes to your record and wait for 48-72 hours for your DNS to process these changes
