To enable DKIM authentication for SAP SuccessFactors please contact the SAP Cloud Support team (under component LOD-SF-PLT-SEC) and provide them with the following information:
- Company ID;
- Datacenter;
- Your mail domain details;
(Provide a full list of the email domains used that you use )
SuccessFactors can also forward outgoing emails through a customer's own SMTP server(s). For this they require the following information:
- the condition (recipient domain)
- the customer's SMTP server's IP and port
- SMTP auth user and password if needed.
Publishing your DKIM public key for SAP SuccessFactors
After you get your public key from SAP SuccessFactors’s support team:
- Login to your DNS provider’s management console as the admin
- Navigate to the DNS records section
- Create a TXT or CNAME record depending on the type of DKIM record provided to you
- Copy and paste the hostname and value
- Save changes to your record and wait for 48-72 hours for your DNS to process these changes
