DKIM authentication is an essential part of your email’s security to ensure that your emails are not accessed or altered by cybercriminals. Adestra recommends that you configure DKIM for your custom domains in the following way:
Enabling DKIM authentication for Adestra
Step 1: Create your DKIM DNS record for Adestra using our DKIM record generator tool, for free. Alternatively, you can view you DKIM public key from Adestra’s Administrative options panel, by clicking on the “View DKIM” button.
Step 2: Take your generated DKIM public key and publish on your domain’s DNS using type as TXT, TTLS= 1 hour and filling in Hostname and Value with copied information from the generator tool.
You don’t need to provide Adestra with your DKIM private key since by default Adestra already signs your emails with the key while sending out emails from your custom domains.
