How to Set Up DKIM for Postmark?

 

Adding a DKIM signature to your email header can help verify that your email is legitimate and your information is protected and untampered with. Postmark recommends that you enable DKIM signing for your domains, using 1024-bit DKIM keys.

Enabling DKIM for Postmark

  • Login to your Postmark account
  • Click on Sender Signatures
  • Locate the domain for which you want to enable DKIM, and select either DNS settings or Add a DKIM DNS record
  • Postmark will generate a DKIM record for your domain which would now be displayed on your DNS settings page to be published on your DNS
  • After publishing the DKIM public key and hostname for your domain on your DNS, allow your DNS some time to process the changes
  • Log back into your Postmark account and click on the “Verify” button
  • If your DKIM record is valid and active, you will be able to see a Verified status on Postmark as shown below:
