How to Set Up DKIM for Act-on?

DKIM is a technique for validating a message's integrity and originating domain. It allows a party to claim responsibility for a message via cryptographic signature and can be verified by a recipient.

  • Locate your Account ID (next to your account name in the account section) from Start page
  • Go to your DNS and make the following changes in your DNS records
  • Create a CNAME
    {{AOAccountID}}aoauth._domainkey
Replace {{AOAccountID}} with your Account ID
  • And point it to the following:
    dkim.act-on.com
  • Click on Save.
  • It takes 24-48 hours for changes to take effect.

After publishing the records through DNS, fill this form to contact Act-on Support at the bottom of this page.

(Note: You will have to set up both SPF and DKIM before submitting the form)

Additionally, lookup and validate your DKIM record using a free DKIM record lookup tool to ensure that your DKIM CNAME records are devoid of errors and fully functional.

Enable DMARC for your domains by taking a free DMARC trial to stay abreast of domain spoofing and phishing attacks.
