DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) is an email security standard that ensures that messages aren't tampered with while in transit between sending and receiving servers. This is done by adding a DKIM signature in the email which is protected cryptographically. The message passes DKIM and is regarded as genuine after the receiving server verifies the signature with the public key. Follow the steps to enable DKIM for Agile CRM:
Enabling DKIM signing for your emails on Agile CRM
Log in to your Agile CRM account.
Navigate to Admin Settings > Analytics.
Scroll down to Email(SPF and DKIM) settings.
Enter the name of the domain for which you want to create a TXT record for DKIM.
Copt the TXT record in front of “m1._domainkey.domain.com” to your clipboard.
Note: The image above is simply an example. Please replace m1 with your configured DKIM selector, and replace domain.com with your own domain name.
Now that we have obtained the DNS record for DKIM, we will have to publish the record through DNS. To publish the record, follow these steps:
Log in to your DNS management console
Create a TXT record in your DNS with the title : <selector>._domainkey.<yourdomainname.com> for example: s1._domainkey.domain.com
In the section allotted for the TXT record value, paste the copied contents of the DKIM public key (The steps to obtain the DKIM key pair are mentioned above)
Click Save.
Click on the Verify button in Agile CRM.
