How to Set Up DKIM for Flexmail?



Flexmail recommends that you enable DKIM email authentication. To send successful emails campaigns without getting blocked your domain must be authenticated, To generate DKIM record in Flexmail that can be published via DNS, follow the steps given below :


  1. Login to your Flexmail account

  2. Click on Settings > Sender Validation.

  3. Click on the Set up authentication button next to the domain for which DKIM records must be created.

Note: The domain names used in the above image are examples.


  1. A popup for email authentication will open, check if the box containing the record is colored red (If the color of the box is green, it indicates that the authentication for the domain is already activated )

  2. In the DKIM section, choose a selector. You can use the default selector or create a new one by clicking the plus icon. Then click on save selector.

  3. After choosing the DKIM selector, click on the generate report button. This will automatically download a TXT file .

  4. Paste the DKIM records in your DNS ( resource type: TXT; Name/Host: selector1._domainkey.mail.example.com ) and save the changes

  5. Wait for some time for your DNS to process these changes. Ideally, it can take up to 72 hours, depending upon your DNS hosting provider. 

When your DNS successfully processes the changes, you should be able to see your record in green adjacent to the domain name on the email authentication page, indicating that your domain is now authenticated.
