Having an SPF record set up for your domain for Zix will help MTAs identify Zix as an authorized email sending source. You need to add an SPF record depending on your existing Nimbus Logic setup. The options you have at your disposal are as follows: 

Creating an SPF record for Zix

If you want to include ZixGateway in your existing Nimbus Logic setup, you need to include Zix sending domains or IP addresses in your SPF record. To do so you can either add: 

A:zixvpm01.datbusiness.com A:zixvpm02.datbusiness.com

or

ip4:66.165.128.0/19 ip4:69.89.224.0/20 

Now in case, you have an existing SPF record in your domain for example: 

Previous SPF record: v=spf1 include:spf.domain.com -all

Modified SPF record: v=spf1 include:spf.domain.com A:zixvpm01.datbusiness.com A:zixvpm02.datbusiness.com -all

Note: DO NOT add multiple SPF records for the same domain

Publishing the SPF record for Zix: 

To publish your Zix SPF record: 

• Login to your DNS management console

• Create a TXT record for your domain

• Include the Zix domains or IPs according to the solutions you use to your existing record or create new

• Save changes 

• Wait for 72 hours to allow your DNS to process the changes
