SPF helps you authorize the sending sources for your outgoing emails. This in turn helps you gain protection against spam and email fraud. In order to enable SPF for Shopify, follow these steps:
Enabling SPF for Shopify
Login to your DNS management console
You need to edit the DNS TXT record related to SPF or add a new one
An SPF TXT record for Shopify will have the following syntax: v=spf1 include:shops.shopify.com ~all
Publish this record on your DNS for the particular domain.
Note: If you don’t have an SPF record previously for your domain, you can simply publish the above-mentioned record value to enable SPF for outgoing emails using Shopify. If you do have an existing SPF record in your DNS, you need to modify it to include Shopify an an authorized third-party sending source, as shown in the example below:
Previous SPF record: v=spf1 include:spf.zoho.com ~all
Modified SPF record: v=spf1 include:spf.zoho.com include:shops.shopify.com ~all
Save changes
Wait for a few hours to allow your DNS to process the changes

Finally, you can look up your record using our SPF lookup tool, and enable DMARC reporting for your domains with our DMARC report analyzer.
