Enabling SPF for SendGrid
To authorize SendGrid to send emails on behalf of your domain, you need to set up SendGrid SPF record and DKIM for SendGrid. To set up your SPF record with SendGrid or edit your current SPF record to include SendGrid and improve your email deliverability, follow the steps below:
Instantly create an error-free SPF record with our free SPF record generator. The created record will be a DNS TXT (text) record with the following value:
v=spf1 include:sendgrid.net ~all
If you already have an SPF record for your domain, you need to add your SendGrid account's unique SPF inclusion into your existing record. For an example your current SPF record is: v=spf1 include:powerdmarc.com ~all
Once you update or modify the record, it will look like the outlined example:
v=spf1 include:powerdmarc.com include:sendgrid.net ~all
Log in your DNS management console and publish this SPF record in your domain’s DNS to setup SPF for SendGrid
You may use PowerDMARC’s SPF Record Lookup tool to verify the newly published SPF record.
