Including SPF records in your domain improves the authenticity of your emails and reduces the probability of spam emails in your inbox. You first have to enable these records in your Name.com web hosting provider’s control panel. Once enabled, you will have to add the SPF records in the form of TXT DNS which are provided to you by your domain.
Creating an SPF Record for Name.com
To activate the SPF records in your web hosting provider’s control panel
Log in to your hosting provider’s control panel
On the Email section of your admin console, click on the Email Deliverability icon.
Locate the domain you want to authenticate.
Click on “Manage” next to your desired domain
Copy the given Value for the SPF record, you can copy it with the help of the Copy button provided. Note: The attached screenshots are simply examples. Kindly replace the SPF record with the one that is generated for your domain.
You will have to add these SPF records as DNS records to your domain. For which, you will have to get back to your Name.com account, and
1. Click on the My Products button.
2. Click on Web Hosting, which can be found under the hosting tab.
3. Navigate to the DNS Management section.
Now we have to add the TXT DNS record for SPF
Here, leave the Host Field blank and paste the copied SPF string into the answer field
Save changes to the published SPF record for Name.com
