User Management Guide for End Users

This guide will walk you through the steps on how to assign specific role types to different users under your account. User access roles help you structure your team access to different features within the platform as per their need basis. It reduces the risk of excessive permissions and follows the approach of on need basis access only.

Importance of Assigning Roles for Your User:

By assigning different roles to your users, you can reduce the risk of unwanted changes made by unauthorized individuals. This will also increase the accountability and structuring within your account.

How to get started from the end user perspective?

As the Account Owner, you can add your users to your account. The initial steps are mentioned below:

  • Within your account, head over to Settings

  • Select User Management

  • You’ll find the Add User button on the top right corner of the screen

  • Fill in the required information and then you’ll notice the User Role Section

  • Here you’ll be able to specify the role of the new user

  • Once everything is filled out, navigate to the end of the page and click on Save.

End User Roles Types and Permissions

Account Owner

The Account Owner is the primary user of the platform, possessing full control over all account-related activities. This role includes managing subscription plans, billing information, and overall account settings. The Account Owner can create, modify, and delete any data or users within the account. Additionally, they have the highest level of access and permissions, making them responsible for delegating roles to other users.

Account Administrator

The Account Administrator supports the Account Owner by managing day-to-day administrative tasks. This role can create, edit, and delete users, assign roles, and oversee general account maintenance. Account Administrators have access to most settings and data within the account but do not have control over billing and subscription management.

Read Only

The Read Only role is designed for users who need access to view data without making any modifications. This role allows users to browse through all available information, generate reports, and monitor activities within the platform. However, they cannot add, edit, or delete any data or configurations, ensuring the integrity and security of the account's information.

Custom

The Custom role provides a flexible permission set tailored to specific user needs. The Account Owner or Account Administrator can define which features and data the Custom role can access. This role is ideal for users who require unique access levels that do not fit into predefined roles, allowing for a customized experience that aligns with individual or team requirements.
