Setting up your EngageLab SPF record is crucial to ensuring your emails reach inboxes without being flagged or blocked. SPF (Sender Policy Framework) authorizes EngageLab’s mail servers to send emails on behalf of your domain, preventing spoofing attempts while boosting deliverability.
This quick step-by-step guide walks you through configuring SPF in EngageLab and verifying that your DNS is correctly set up.
Steps to Set Up EngageLab SPF Record
Log in to your EngageLab account
On the left-side menu, navigate to Send Settings > Domain
On the Domain page, click on Add Sending Domain
Add your domain name (e.g. company.com) and click on the settings icon
Copy the SPF record and paste it into your DNS management console
Once you have saved your SPF record and allowed the DNS to propagate the changes, head back over to your EngageLab portal and click on “Configuration check”.
You should be able to see a “verified” status against your SPF configuration if it’s set up correctly
