This guide explains how to configure DMARC records in your DNS provider to authenticate your domain with TurboSMTP.
Email domain authentication verifies the sender’s identity, prevents spoofing, and improves deliverability. Most email providers, including Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo, require these protocols for trusted delivery.
Step 1: Access TurboSMTP Domain Verification
Log in to your TurboSMTP account.
In the left-hand menu, go to Settings → Sender Domain Verification.
Click Add Domain.
Enter your domain name and click Add Domain again.
TurboSMTP will now display the required DMARC records.
Step 2: Add TurboSMTP DMARC Records to Your DNS Provider
Log in to your DNS hosting provider.
Go to Domain List. Click on Manage for the domain you want to configure email authentication for.
Click on Add New Record in the Advanced DNS or Zone editor.
DMARC Record: Type TXT, host _dmarc, with a value as provided by TurboSMTP:
Save each record.
Step 3: Verify Your Setup
Return to TurboSMTP → Sender Domain Verification.
Click Verify.
If the records are correct, TurboSMTP will confirm the domain as authenticated.
Notes
DNS changes can take up to 24–48 hours to propagate.
Start with a DMARC policy of p=none to monitor before enforcing stricter policies like quarantine or reject.
Double-check for typos in hostnames or values, as incorrect entries will block verification.
For automated monitoring, report visualization, and advanced DMARC policy management, you can simplify this process with PowerDMARC’s DMARC management platform.
