How to Publish a DMARC record on DYN?

In case you use DYN as your DNS hosting provider, implementing DMARC for DYN will ensure that your emails are secured. DMARC helps protect your organization’s email domain from the malicious intentions of threat actors. Furthermore, with proper implementation and constant monitoring, you can improve your email deliverability rates by 10%.

How to Enable DMARC on DYN

Step 1: Create your TXT record

The first thing that you are required to do is generate your DMARC record. You can use our free DMARC record generator to instantly create a text record for your domain. If you have a record already created, you can lookup your DMARC record to make sure it contains no errors.

Step 2: Log in to your DYN management console

  • In the DNS records section, choose TXT as your record’s resource type

  • Specify your TTL value (time for which your record will remain in the cache for the systems that perform DNS queries). The recommended value is 1 hour.

  • Enter the value for your generated DMARC record in the data box

  • Click on Add, and you’re done!

NoteDYN would require 24-48 hours to process and update the changes made
